although the look & feel is quite handy already, I'm terribly missing some copy&paste features. especially when chatting, it's an art to quickly copy the translated text. should not be too difficult to add a button that stores text to the clipboard (same goes for pasting text from the clipboard, even auto-load would be fine).
further more - recently selected language pairs should be easily reselectable, best would be to place buttons above the regular list, not entries in the list. third - instead of switching translation from/to, there should be two textboxes or a split-screen, where one can paste text which automatically appears translated in the respective other box. that would speed up translation much and be easier to use. also, a history or back/fw navigation option would be nice. luxury could be a roundtrip check, i.e. the auto-translation should be translated back (or better into a third language) for cross-checking what exactly the auto-translation did. when doing rapid talking, I always have to copy the translated part, switch languages, paste the translated text (unfortunately overwriting the initial text to translate) and verify that it says what it's supposed to say. this step is mandatory in order to not say the wrong things, and not every user is experienced enough to control multiple browser tabs ;]. anyways, just my 2cts. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "General" group.
