OK, So after a lot of frustration I did finally realize that at the very top of my screen google added another place where you can choose which language you want. And next to the entire list of options there (which does not include english either) there is a button that says "Show Original" that will take you back to the English version. This is not a good solution, but I'm glad I finally figured it out.
