I would like to know whether Google Translate honors the potentially confidential nature of a document or portion of document submitted for translation via Translate (not via Translate Toolkit). Does Google retain a copy of either the translated or original text? Does Google make any portion of the text available for search? Does Google honor the potentially confidential nature of the document? Is there any way to request that Google not retain the document, limit the license to do so, or request that Google honor the confidentiality of portions of the document or redact confidential information?
