hey...just for fun i tried to translate a frase we have here in norway from norwegian to english...it was the frase"BARE HYGGELIG" which is used in many different ways here...including as an answer when someone says thank you...then the meaning of this frase will be " you are welcome"...not "JUST NICE" as your translator told me...when i switched it around and asked to translate the same frase from english to norwegian meaning i wrote "YOU ARE WELCOME" it just came back with "DU ER VELKOMMEN" this is right but like i've said earlier it can also mean "BARE HYGGELIG"...so i would advise you to add this in your translator...i know alot of people use google translator to actually study languages and learn them and when you make such mistakes as this one people learn wrong...maybe you should think about that alittle and make better translations...i'm using google translator regularly translating from spanish to english because i follow things in spain but i can't read that much spanish yet...but even with the limited spanish i know i have already seen many faults and mistakes in the translation...i sometimes have to guess wht it means because the translation is incomplete words r missing in between or the translation doesn't make any sence...
now i'm born in Norway and lived here in Norway my first 22 years of my life...i've been in norwegian school from i was 7 years till i graduated at 19 years...so please do not think i'm not speaking norwegian myself because i am... i hope you will correct this and make the translations more accurate in the future... thanks from Celin -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "General" group.
