I was very impressed with your post when I first read it in late
August - You did a really nice job of documenting the exact issue.  I
keep waiting for Josh or someone at Google to respond and let us know
that these issues are resolved.

I have removed the Google Translate widget from our website only
because of this IE warning that is improperly triggered.  Lots of our
users are asking for it back, so I am thinking of either implementing
a workaround like the one you described, or perhaps testing for IE and
loading the translate module for all other browsers.  Thoughts?

Also, is there any way I can subscribe to only this thread so I don't
have to keep checking the daily summary for this Group to see if the
issue has been resolved yet?
