Using Google Chrome's app shortcut command, I have Google Translate on my taskbar. I just open it when I find a word I don't know the equivalent of in French. However, it looks like crap on my taskbar unlike all the other icons on it. I've done the same thing with Gmail and it looks clean and well-rendered on my taskbar even though I think it's still just a favicon blown-up.
