The "contribute a better translation" box stilll appears in my browser
as part of the however bubble. Howevever, I almost never bother
anymore, althouhg I responded enthusiastically at first.

The problem is that one gets rather peeved when the same sort of
errors continue, no matter how many times one has contributed a
correction. The feature ends up appearing to be nothing more than a
rather abusive PR gimmick.

If you want people to give of their time to better Google Translation,
you will need to give them some meaningful positive feed back to
persuade them that their contribution has not gone straigjht into the
wasterbasket.
