Google translator's Listen link or icon is great. You can listen to the pronunciation of the translated words or sentences. But it would be better if there was one more button called (e.g.) slowed-down pronunciation. Say I want to learn to pronounce "Auf Wiedersehen" as close to native accent as possible. Slowing down the pronunciation helps a lot.
Many programs can do this. See the discussion "Software to slow down speech" at http://how-to-learn-any-language.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=18963 All Google needs to do is incorporate it into the Listen function. As far as I know, no web site provides this feature yet. Yong Huang yong321 at yahoo.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "General" group.
