Hi NMNHweb,

The Translate Element does require loading a fair amount of
Javascript.  And we do our best to make sure that only happens after
the rest of the page is loaded, as to not slow down the loading of the
page's content itself.

This JS should be cached well too, so while it may be slow the first
time, it should be much quicker later on.
