On translating 'tsunami' into all the languages using Google
Translate, there was a distinct shift in the paradigm or linguistic
base here in Seattle.

This brought to mind the idea that any single or small number of words
that capture worldwide attention in the news for, say, more than a
week, might be run through a device that translates that word
automatically. Of course on any day almost any word will appear
often, but "tsunami" is astonishingly frequent just now and of course
carries powerful material and human implications.

Maybe the Google translate page could automatically list all the
translations for the highest (or a chosen highest) frequency word each
day. And of course this could be a Google thingie.
