The translation will be more accurate if you use the proper Kanji when
you write Japanese.
I typed in "昨日 は 木曜日 でした。" and it translated it accurately (even
though there are spaces).
Also, Japanese doesn't have spaces between the words. So, that's
probably why it ignores the spaces in the first place.
