To anyone interested, such as iWeb users or others who use http refreshes. I have a web site, http://www.mwrs.org.au/, and I thought I'd try using Google Translate to offer the site in other languages, e.g. in Japanese, using the link below:
http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=en&tl=ja&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.mwrs.org.au%2F But what I see is what appears to be an infinite loop: the Translate frame appears, offering the selection of source and target languages, then another one appears below that, then another... The problem appears to be an HTML refresh (<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0;url= VK2MB/Home.html" />), which has been inserted by the web creation program I'm using (Apple iWeb). Going straight to the refresh target page works pretty well: http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=en&tl=ja&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.mwrs.org.au%2FVK2MB%2FHome.html It also doesn't translate iWeb's navigation widgets. If there is a workaround for these (short of reverting to hand- coding :-), I'd be pleased to hear about it. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "General" group.
