Best described by example: English to French, type in "the beef".
It will say "la viande bovine". But then you can of course click on it to get an alternate translation. So do that and select "Boeuf". But then you'll notice the article doesn't change. It should be "le boeuf", but it stays as "la boeuf". And then you can do alternate translation on the "la" and make it whatever article you want, which is stupid because it can only be one, all the others are unequivocally incorrect. For instance the article "L apostrophe" only goes before words that begin with a vowel or H, but it allows you to make it into "l'boeuf".
