Urdu poetry is so near to common verbal use of the language, that it is hundred times easier for an Urdu poet to pick up a word ---- get its equivalent rhyming word and come out with a matching narrative in a couplet. The rhyming words called 'qafia' can be easily provided by Google instant search. The themes of the 'Ghazal; too are standard and can be easily tabulated and recalled instantly. If some expert at Google puts his/her mind to it, Urdu Ghazal by Google will be a rage in India, Pakistan, and the Urdu diaspora all around the world.
Google can easily build up a huge repository of Urdu Ghazals and instantly provide feed back to poets who want to write an original Ghazal. Urdu Ghazal writing is based on memory, juggling of words, meter, rhyming words to go in each couplet and in fact become the key word around which themes are woven. The charm of Urdu couplet is not unlike Twitter, in which in a few words the poet has to say his theme and it becomes instantly quotable. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "General" group.
