I would second this. I regularly translate from English to other languages to communicate with company members in other countries. As English is a very loose language, and highly cliche driven, many common wordings simply don't translate properly to other languages. By doing regular translate-->reverse-translate-->translate steps, I am forced to rewrite English in a way that is still syntactically correct, but isn't necessarily "normal" English speech. But, it ensures clarity when communicating with international partners.
I've found that by repeatedly refining English words to get the translation just right, and have the same message communicated back, recipients have actually believed that I fully spoke their language, not realizing I was using Google. It's highly effective, and I agree that Google should provide the reverse translation, especially using the as-you-type feature.
