I am also have the "switch" problem....The whole translate section is acting crazy. They have a major bug.....you cannot deleate the entire section that you write in the box but must delete little by little...What happened to Google translate? sometimes the translated text is all mixed up and makes no sense...I have used this for 2 years now and this has really gone crazy the last 2 months....
