I think I might have learned something about this and cause might relate to SharePoint. I have found that others are experiencing the URL changing.
I posted in the Google code with this: </script><script src="//translate.google.com/translate_a/element.js? cb=googleTranslateElementInit"></script> But after some server activity, it changes the code to this: </script><script src="/translate_a/element.js? cb=googleTranslateElementInit"></script> I've posted on a SharePoint forum to see if I can get any feedback.
