A simple suggestion is to have 4 boxes - instead of two on the screen. If I was translating from English to Portuguese the top two text boxes would function as they do now:
[My Text] => [Google's Translated Text] My suggestion adds an automatic REVERSE TRANSLATION to the mix through a second set of translation text boxes appearing below the original - in such a way that the results of the Google translation are then re- translated back into the original language: [My Text] <= [Google's Translated Text] This would allow me the opportunity to rephrase my text in such a way that I am getting the translation I desire. I may have a run-on sentence that trips up the translator, my sentence structure may be too complex, my verb/adverb choice may be messing up a translation. With a two-way translation I can verify that what I sent is what I meant to send. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "General" group.
