When I translated a Danish sentence into Spanish, the "detect
language" software correctly identified the sentence as Danish. When I
chose English as the output language for the exact same sentence,
however, the "detect language" software identified it as Norwegian. I
tried this a few times to see if it was a temporary glitch, but it
seems to be dependent on the output language rather than just the
phrase. In fact, the only output languages for which the detect
language feature correctly identified the phrase as Danish rather than
Norwegian were Spanish, Italian, German, and Arabic--not even
Norwegian or Danish themselves!
