Hi,

I would like to know how an alternate translation for a word can be
provided.
For the word that is the matter, there is only one translation, but it
is grammatically not correct and I am sure many people find use this
word on Google Translate for other reasons.
I read the post about the alternative translation on Google Translate
blog and it says: "our system searches through millions of possible
translations, selecting the best -- that is, the most statistically
likely -- translation."
Then would it mean if many people type in the same word as the
alternative translation for the word in question, would it appear as
the "official alternative translation?"

Thanks for the reply in advance.
