The word 'is' gets translated to 'אין', which actually means 'is no'-- exactly the opposite!
i.e. 'There is a word for "blue" and there is a word for "pale blue".' gets translated to '.אין מילה "כחול" ואין מילה "תכלת"' Which, translated back to English actually means 'There is no word "blue" and not a word "blue".'
