Using the Google toolbar, I visited several sites which use an English menu system and some English info texts, but the main language on those sites is different. Especially many Russian sites or also Italian sites I visited are recognized as English only and refuse to be translated.
It would help to have an option to choose from a "different source language", in stead of a fixed automatism to recognize the site language. I suppose, that especially sites, recognized as English are problematic, because English is THE international internet language. As example a Russian bug report site of the Open Source program "far manager" (like the old Norton Commander): http://bugs.farmanager.com/ where the site is English but many bug reports are Russian. (Also sites from several Hotels in Italy, which I visited suffer from this problem.) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "General" group.
