Tha arabs and persians are ignorant when it comes transliterating into/ out of Arabic/Persian and English.
For instant the vowel 'i' as in 'hit' will unnecessarily be seen as 'heet', when hit is perfectly possible. Stupidly, 'david cameron' will be written as 'daveed caamroan', instead of 'david Cameron'. Google translator fails in this regard too. instead of asking arabist, they ask arabs who are most often than not throughly ignorant of vowels. they think for example 'e' represents the vowel in 'hit'. so 'alif' will be transliterated as 'alef'. stupid ignorance the very opposite of knowledge. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "General" group.
