I sometimes try to use google translate to help me learn Japanese as I'm watching anime, and for example, I anticipate a phrase which I think will sound like "(insert name) janakte" which I think will mean "that's not (insert name)". janakte is not grammatically correct Japanese, first of all since it's in romanji, not katakana or hiragana or whatever. But that's the sound of "that's not" in this context. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "General" group.
