Dear Google,

I am developing a website for an cultural organization.
A good number of their clients mother language is not English so when
I suggested the Google Translate they loved the idea.

To this end I added Translate to their test site. The results are
mixed at best. They like the translations, they don't mind the drop
down menu with the words and logo "Powered by Google Translate" under
the drop down menu, but they do not like the blue menu bar that says
"Google translate translated to: language name" and the "Show
original" and "Options" buttons that appears when the site is
translated.

Their issues with the blue bar is they don't like another logo to
appear above their logo. They feel that might cause confusion with the
person visiting their website and give the visitor the impression that
they have left the site and now have gone to a Google site.
This is doubly true since a good number of my client's web visitors
are not comfortable with computers and the internet.

My questions are:

1) can the blue bar be turned off?

2) If the blue bar can be turned off, how do I do it?

3) Are there any legal / page rank ramifications if the blue banner is
turned off?

My Client understands that Google logo should be under the drop down
translation menu it is just the blue menu they are having issues with.
