Hi

Will google translate be offered over https in the (near) future? I just
read an article in a national newspaper today that raises concerns about
using the service, since it uses no encrypted connection and because of
section 11 of the google terms of service.
Section 11 of the Google terms of service states more or less that
information offered can be used and redistributed by google anywhere and
anytime. Not suitable for anything remotely confidential.

Besides, since encrypted.google.com or gmail can be offered on ssl, why
can't other services use encrypted connections?

Any reactions or suggestions are welcome.
Thanks
