That feature does not work well because the phrases are not always
separated correctly. Below I give a detailed example:
*English:*
Your signature could not be added to the document. If your signature
requires a smart card, ensure that the card reader is installed correctly
and the card is present.
*Google translation to Dutch:*
Uw handtekening kon niet worden toegevoegd aan het document. Als uw
handtekening vereist een smart card, ervoor te zorgen dat de kaartlezer
correct geïnstalleerd is en de kaart aanwezig is.
*Correct Dutch translation:*
Uw handtekening kon niet *aan het document* worden toegevoegd. Als uw
handtekening *een smart card* vereist, zorg er dan voor dat de kaartlezer
correct geïnstalleerd is en de kaart aanwezig is.
For instance, "not be added to" in the first sentence is seen as one phrase
and translated to "niet worden toegevoegd aan". Now if we want to move the
set of words "to the document"/"aan het document" to improve the Dutch word
order, that is not possible because moving the words would break the
recognized phrase in two parts. The same issue is present for the set of
words "a smart card"/"een smart card" in the second sentence ("requires a"
is recognized as a phrase instead of "a smart card").
There is no way to move single words rather than phrases. Also the old
interface to suggest a better translation for the complete text has gone
away.
