the Japanese translation should be speech inputted and phonetically typed in as well. When people read something of Japanese (or any other language that uses symbols) origin and is not in the symbolic format the translate application is pretty useless unless you know the equivalent in your language. this is a set back, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who has this problem.
