I just experienced this problem, hence I located this post. I can't believe that this issue has been around since Feb 17 and it is now December 1! In September I sent an email to someone in Italy with prices for renting our apartments stated in GBP, he translated it to Italian and brought along a copy of my email, in Italian, hoping to settle his bill in Euros! This is a major flaw, as the original poster states, and I am gobsmacked that it is still not fixed. Please, please, Google people, address this issue quickly!
