Kurdish is an ancient language that is spoken currently by 50 million
people throughout the Middle East, in Syria, Iraq, Iran and Turkey.
There are many of us interacting with Kurdish people on Facebook and
twitter, to support their intended goal of statehood. This includes
recognition of their language which is intrinsic to the Kurdish
culture.

I would like to know if Google, at present, is in the process of
creating a translating algorithm for Kurdish and if not, could you
please go ahead.

Currently, Kurds have to write their words in Arabic or Persian
script, or Turkish in order to write, but they have their own script
as well as a way of writing that, like Turkish, utilises Roman script
with the odd cedilla etc.

It would be fantastic if people like me could translate English into
either Kurdish script or their version of Roman script. It will enable
many people who wish to interact with kurds, in business - such as the
oil business in Iraqi Kurdistan in the north of Iraq, where important
international deals are being made, to the ordinary Kurdish person who
wants access to English and the huge English-speaking social and
business community throughout the world. Not to forget, the huge
diaspora of Kurds, in the UK, US, throughout Europe and elsewhere.

I look forward to hearing from you asap, hopefully from someone who is
in the GOOGLE TRANSLATE department.
Thank you for your attention.
