In my experience, if they're seeing something translated, they can move their mouse over to the portion they want to see in the original version, and a dialog box will pop up and say something to the effect of "would you like to see this in the original version?" and if they do, there's a drop down box or something that allows them to view a few words in the original un-translated version.
