Whenever I'm trying to click on a link (within a non-English webpage), a dialogue box appears, with a translation of the link. This invariably blocks access to the link itself. Closing the box doesn't communicate my disinterest, as it will reopen as soon as I again attempt to click on the link.
I can't possibly be the only consumer frustrated with this, yet my searches have yielded nothing. While I am usually able to eventually sneak in a "right click", opening the link in a new tab, the process often takes 20+ attempts. Obviously, this kills my productivity, but it has also led to Apple having to twice replace my mid-2011 Macbook Pro trackpad, as the intense bursts of speed and dexterity required to "beat the box" tend to be executed somewhat violently. Of course, for the last few years, this insanity has taken place on webpages CHROME HAS ALREADY TRANSLATED (where Chrome now asks if you'd like the page translated, and offers the option to have any subsequent pages in that language translated by default). That feature I love, notwithstanding the shortcomings endemic to Machine Translation. I would be very grateful for any assistance the translation community may provide.
