This is just a proposition. I think that google should make an translation app for mobile phones with a posibility to photograph text on bilborads, books, newspapers etc. Cameras on phones are now more then 5 MPixels so it is enough for word recognition. Every taken picture for that service could be uploaded on to the cloud or google servers and text could be instantly recognised and translated afterwards, and it will all take just a few seconds for upload on 4G or 3G and a second for translation download Can it be done or is that type of service under some patent issue and how long will we wait for something like that to be available?
