Hi mr.briandennis, I might be mistaken but when you start translating, there is a message displayed on your screen mentioning the fact that all features and pictures may not be preserved.
This also sometimes differ according to your browser (IE as far as I can see) and/or your operating system. However a Google employee could provide more help on this issue. Might also depend on the file format you have used to upload the file, if you have extracted it priorly and not gone through the direct link. I guess you extracted an .html file and then uploaded it? In which case I could only advise to try another format since .html encoding often won't preserve the original display when uploaded there since you don't open the created file with a browser.
