A couple of issues I have come across with my own website www.visnos.com when using the chrome translate extension.
The first one was the site had originally used a navigation menu that had a fixed css position. This meant if someone used the extension the translate menu blocked the site navigation. I have fixed this now by changing my navigation to position:static, but it was nice the previous way. It would be good if there was some kind of easy way to know if the translate menu bar has been added and then maybe change the page layout. Another issue I have come across is if using jquery ui library to created widgets such as a dialog. When the translate bar is on then then the dialog offset when dragging it about the screen is messed up. You can test this easy by going to http://jqueryui.com/demos/dialog/ translate the page to a different language and then try and drag the dialog title bar around. I realise this is as much a bug in jquery ui, but thought I would bring it to the attention of the group first. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "General" group.
