Senad, Your help is greatly appreciated and I feel I can see a ray of light at the end of the tunnel. I had posted the following previously.
"I'm sure that my speakers, microphone and the Translate software work. I want to speak Spanish into the mike, have it go to the dialogue box, and have it translated to English. I have an HP desktop with Windows 7 and have enabled the speech recognition software allowing me to speak commands to Windows 7. I have also enabled speech recognition in Google Search allowing me to verbally say what I want to search on. What I can't do is get Google Translate to accept my voice as input. There is no microphone in the dialogue box. I have checked and I appear to have the latest versions of all the software I need." -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "General" group.
