Hi, Josh.

Don't you think it might be handy to tell users what the *actual css urls *
are?
Don't you think it's a bit bit cheeky to ask people to turn off their
ad-blocker?
But then I suppose Google* is* an advertising/surveillance company, so I
can't blame you so long as it's tongue-in-cheek ;-D

For me, using Firefox in UK, ABP was blocking this:
  *
http://translate.google.co.uk/translate/static/kcpbtI_-aDs/css/desktop_ltr.css
*
I have no idea whether international firewalls were blocking this (I can't
think why the would, but who knows in this day & age).
Presumably Google has people in place to check these things before a
release. Anyway, that's one of the ones to check.

In looking for the solution (no doubt duplicating efforts of *several*others),
I happened to check the CSS & HTML5 for compliance

http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?uri=http%3A%2F%2Ftranslate.google.co.uk%2F%3Fhl%3Den%26tab%3DwT%23auto|la|

*CSS Errors (336) Warnings
(3)<http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?uri=http%3A%2F%2Ftranslate.google.co.uk%2F%3Fhl%3Den%26tab%3DwT%23auto%7Cla%7C#warnings>
*

http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Ftranslate.google.co.uk%2F%3Fhl%3Den%26tab%3DwT%23auto|la|

*HTML5 Errors 38 , 2 warnings

*Similarly for Google search page itself, three CSS errors, thirty-two HTML5
errors.

That's fairly typical of amateurish web-programmers, I suppose. Anyone
notice it? Team manager perhaps? No?

Then again, we know that it worked before with ABP (13,559,648 users in
Firefox) so it looks like something that* Google*
web-programmers<https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/statistics/>introduced,
 when
<https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/statistics/>
you released a *thwuper* new version on us the other
day.<https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/statistics/>It
looks like it could be something
*Google*<https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/statistics/><https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/statistics/>d<https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/statistics/>id

to itself.

I wonder if the* Google* web-programmer team
management<https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/statistics/><https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/statistics/>get
round to bothering to test widely-used utilities like Firefox ABP (13,559,648
users)
a release?
Is it on the checklist? (You have a checklist, or just a target release
date?)
... but then we know you are so busy with so much to to blahh blah ...

... and it's easier to blame someone else, like ABP, FF, whatever?

Perhaps those are the issues you should be aware of.

(Not-unkind regards, etc., etc.)
