Dear Sven, Josh and all, As you know, a few of us, including Explorer, are working on adding Bosnian into Google Translate.
Part of the work consists in having an accurate User Interface (UI), which can be done in Google in Your Language (GIYL). Now, it is more than unclear to us why GIYL in Bosnian hasn't been working for months now. GIYL has a contact link to the email address: [email protected], where I have sent several emails in the past months, with no reply. The only thing that I get is an automated reply advising to visit the fora regarding translator issues. Those fora do not exist anymore (they did in the old version of Google Groups), except for Google Translate. - Now, I am inviting you to try to add a new translation in Bosnian for example here: http://www.google.com/transconsole/giyl/translateMessage?project=Groups2&langcode=bs&mode=TRANSLATE_NEW ==> *Impossible.* - Try the very same procedure for Montenegrin for example: http://www.google.com/transconsole/giyl/translateMessage?project=GeoWiki&langcode=sr-ME&mode=TRANSLATE_NEW ==> *It works!* I could have given the example of "Groups UI" but since Montenegrin is functional, our fellow translators have finished the job for "Groups UI" for that language... Would it be possible to have an explanation about what is really going on here? Is anybody able - *and willing* - to fix that problem or shall we be kept left aside forever for some reason that I am not aware of? Is there any serious contact link or email address to report the issue and eventually fix this? I have tried everything that I have found in the past months and nothing has changed so far. Thanks in advance for your help and support on this question, which is really getting problematic. I am sure that it should not take Google's technical team long to fix such a problem.
