I am frustrated with this problem too not to mention sometimes
the google call does not work neither. Straight to the point, a night ago;
it did not have any sound and 24 hours later, it came back on. What I did
was I used both " Registry Mechanic " and " System Mechanic " to have m
registries, temporary files and caches thoroughly cleaned which I should
have done so on a weekly basis but was over due over for ten days. The
google sound did not come back right away however. Most of the time, the
problems are caused from software as I had the Avast installed several
months ago and I had experienced problem of loading and unable to shut down
my PC except manually. I thought it was the hard drive problem at first as
the technician kept telling me it required 7200 rpm. I just did not wish to
re-install Windows 7 and I asked myself what software that I had installed
most recently and the answer was the Avast. Once it was un-installed,
everything ran smoothly.
I am sure the sound would come back once your temporary files,
caches etc,etc.... glutters have been completely cleaned. The sound is back
once again in about a day.
