I had experienced this problem every now and then. I believe it has to do with the junk that stored in our PC. I usually have my registries, temporary files and cache cleaned on weekly basis by using two software, namely " Registry Mechanic " and System Mechanic " or even with " Privacy Guardian " . Having done so, the sound did not come back right away. However, after eight hours or so; I got my Google translate sound back and now is working fine for over five days now. I believe even one does not use the software but using the Microsoft IE 9 to clean the cache, browsing histories and cookies from time to time would do the job. I hope my information would be helpful for those who have been frustrating with Google translate sound.
