I had been *pondering the question "why my Google Translate don't want to
sound 'American' " *for about a month, before I realized that it is Google
itself that doesn't allow it to sound that way on my computer, according to
my geographical location (which is Moscow).

I noticed it, as I said before, about a month ago. I used to use Google
Translate for years and it sounded American all right, despite the fact
that my location was the same. But it seems like something has been
changed, because now Google is acting *like it knows better than me* what
kind of English-pronunciation I need there in Moscow!!! I know it for sure,
as I came *to this conclusion after I tried** *everything, every language
setting to get it sound "right" -- browsers, OS, account + logout (just to
be sure that it had nothing to do with its settings) -- and the only way I
have found to force "Google" to sound American is to use a fake IP-adress
(American IP-adress). Of course, it is in no way a solution, but at least I
know who to blame for it now.

So, my question is very simple and naive -- WHY? Why have you guys done
this to us, Muscovites? :)
