I'm using Google Translate for Hindi & Bengali. I'm using an older version of Firefox (3.x) which I was quite happy with until this week, despite Facebook, Google etc. nagging me to upgrade it. I find Chrome just doesn't work properly & much prefer the Mozilla software.
In the last few days, Google Translate has stopped displaying properly. Where it used to say (adj.), (noun), etc. now there is only a grey square blob. In addition, in that same area (underneath the right hand box, where the list of synonyms appears), the diacritics below the letter (such as Hindi "u") no longer display properly. What's changed since last week? And must I really leap from Firefox 3.6, which works great everywhere else, to Firefox 15 - especially when Firefox 16 has just been recalled? I am very mistrustful of new software updates, which are often more bloatware or spyware than previous editions. Thanks for your attention!
