You will (probably) have to write a short program to translate the
symbols into English systems. Do you know Arabic? There is a system
devised by Tim Bruckwalter that does exacltly that for Arabic
characters.

The beauty of his system is that it is one for one and is therefore
usable in a dictionary. The pronounciation is approximate.

What you should do is take a look at Hindu characters. You can do this
by dowloading a Web page and examining the HTML. You then have to have
a translation program into Latin characters which does a similar thing
to what Tim has done for Arabic?
