And after getting over my confusion of being subscribed to several Google AJAX API groups things are quite clear now. What is not clear is how some example simply won't work for my site. Take for example this Translate Example, http://www.google.com/uds/samples/language/translate.html It includes a key of, <script src="/jsapi?key=internal" type="text/javascript"></script> So it obviously doesn't work on my site with that key. I tried removing it. Because I'm using ActionScript 2.0 (because of the Customers Circumstances), I have to basically have a page like this with the Google Branding (which would also appear on the Flash site), and then do a RESTful request of this page and parse out the div layer with the translation.
