Apparently, if one decides to use and abuse the "suggest a better translation" option, one can wreck a lot of havoc in their system. As I see it, someone just suggested such "translation" for these expressions, and the system accepted it. Try to translate just "lietuvis" and you will get "news". But if you try "Lietuvis" with the capital L, you will get Lithuanian. In some expressions "lietuvis" is being translated as "human" and so on. It appears we Lithuanians have a lot of pranksters, or a lot of enemies. And yes, I think it is exactly BECAUSE no human is monitoring the changes. I suggest that with this their wiki-like translation system Google should introduce a policy of restricting some words from being changed by the "suggest translation" feature, else they won't get rid of this kind of political offenses.Or at least they should introduce a possibility to report deliberately misleading translations and monitor those reports manually. By the way there is no possibility to suggest anything directly, which is rather annoying, considering the offense we are experiencing.
