In typical drop down lists, one would expect to iterate over the items which start by a particular letter by activating the drop down and pressing that particular key until the desired item is selected.
Steps to reproduce: 1. Activate the language selection control (simply by focusing on it using tab navigation or opening the list using the mouse, for example); 2. Press "f" key several times; Expected result: The widget would iterate over the languages started by "f" (case insensitive). Actual result: "Filipino" (first item started by "f") is selected in the first key event - no iteration occurs from the subsequent key presses. Environment: Operating system - Windows XP SP3 Web browsers - Firefox 3.0.3 and Internet Explorer 7.0.5730.11 Although not a severe issue, it surely deserves attention from an usability point of view! ;-) It surely helps quickly setting up Translate with minimal hassle.
