Because it is ambiguous. I put your example into Buckwalter and looked
up the word in my dictionary. BTW - Is it the stage name of a belly
dancer? ah=p - yes as the letter a is so oversubscribed.

Disamibuation which is the technical term is non trivial. In fact it
is the essence of tranlation. Arabic script is monocase. In English or
Spanish you can disambiguate by capital letters.

Google prides itself on statistical translation, so there scould be
disambiguation.

My suggestion to Google is a little bit more profound. If I am to say
"Jamilah danced well" disamibualisation occurs during the parsing
stage as we have Adjective verb adverb. This is impossible only a noun
can start a sentence. If I say "The dancer is beautiful" this is
possible both ways and any statisdtics would coose "beautiful".

Google has however set its face against this.
