I was using the Yahoo translator powered by SYSTRAN. They claim to HQ in Paris and that they have been in the business since 1968, yet they cannot translate even basic French to English. Try cut and paste a new article from a French site and translate. They will botch dozens of words per paragraph, and FAIL entirely to translate anything with an apostrophe: d'un, l'autre, s'ennuie... Obviously they have not changed their algorithm since '68 and obviously it was written by a Japanese statistician whose mistress spoke broken French, she picked up during a brief stay in a Vietnamese jail, while high on the junk. How pathetic. Google deserves translations are phenomenal!
