I've been using the Google Langauge Tools pretty much since they came out. Fantastic stuff.
I have an issue now however, that I've not seen discussed anywhere. I have built up a family news site, using Google Sites, that I am restricting to certain individuals (ie: it's not a public site). We have many family members who still live in Germany, and would prefer to read the family news in German. The problem is that when I try to perform a site translation, it fails with the following error message: The page you requested (http://sites.google.com/a/my-google-site/) attempted to redirect to a page (https://www.google.com/a/ UniversalLogin?continue1=http%3A%2F%2Fsites.google.com%2Fa%2Fmy-google- site%2F&continue2=http%3A%2F%2Fsites.google.com%2Fa%2Fmy-google- site&continue=http%3A%2F%2Fsites.google.com%2Fa%2Fmy-google-site %2F&service=jotspot) that could not be translated. This seems odd to me for two reasons: 1) I am already logged in with my Google account, so couldn't the translate tool just reference my google cookies and continue. 2) Even if I wasn't logged in, why wouldn't you be able to translate the "UniversalLogin" page?
