We've been discussing this technology at work today and I'm very curious to know something.
I'm going to make an assumption here and say that when translating something from Chinese to Spanish, for example, you translate languages to a middle-language or intermediary of some kind. If this is true, can anyone tell me what the middle language is? I ask because I'm genuinely curious to know if there was research done to find if some language out there better represents all languages due to it's simplicity or complexity or some other factor I haven't thought of.
